The Ranch was formed as a 501C3 Non-Profit Corporation and was founded in October of 2019 by Rick and Betty McEvoy. Rick is a retired U.S. Marine with 24 years of service. Betty has owned and operated a cleaning business for over 30 years. Rick and Betty are both leaders in their church and were called to serve their community through this much-needed ministry. Always Faithful Ranch believes hurting people need hope, especially teens and young adults. The ranch began with 5 rescued horses and a heart to help those experiencing crisis. Through establishing a safe and caring relationship, a person of faith and a rescued horse can help begin the process of healing.
To stand firm in the battle with those in crisis, providing truth and love while uniting them to the faithfulness of our Father.
We rescue horses and dogs when we can. All horses that are rescued are 1st evaluated by the veterinarian and given time to adjust to new surroundings and a chance to heal or come within healthy weight standard while receiving plenty of love. Then we evaluate them through the use of natural horsemanship to determine if they will make a good fit for our mentorship or lesson programs. If not then we put them up for adoption in order to find them their forever home.
Sometimes we rescue litters of puppies and find them their forever home. Majority of the time, other rescues organization reach out to us for the hard to place puppies or dogs.
Provide a free and safe place to escape and find peace while experiencing the miracle of bonding and working with a horse.
While they are on the ranch, we will find teachable moments to share the truth of the Gospel and how Jesus can help them through every situation
Teach them the importance of trust in their relationship with the horses which will carry over into all their relationships especially with Jesus.
Always Faithful Ranch believes hurting people need hope, especially teens and young adults who have experienced acute crisis. The trauma is a result of difficulties like physical, emotional, or sexual abuse, neglect violence, illness, or a death of a loved one. We believe healing comes through a relationship with God and our Savior Jesus Christ.
Someone experiencing acute crisis needs the foundational elements of a healthy relationship: safety and trust. Rescued horses have a unique way of connecting to these needs through their own stories of rescue and restoration. Through establishing a safe and caring relationship, a person of faith and a rescued horse can help begin the process of healing.
